sailor moon.

Y'all remember that show? I used to LOVE it! I would rush home after school just so I could watch the new episode. So when I was putting this look together, I had one of my fav childhood cartoons in mind. I hope I reminded y'all of Sailor Moon as well!

Yeah, this looks like Sailor Moon, but really I don't know what the fuck I was thinking when I put this on. Really, I was just like "Hmmm, what kind of off the wall ish can I put on today?". So here we are. With an extremely pulled back ponytail from elikatira (for all you seasoned SLers, that's ETD!), this look gives off a very high-fashion, regal kind of vibe. I got the jacket from The Sea Hole. It comes with shorts, but I think the jacket goes better with the jeans. Plus, I don't like doing everything just one color and with this look, if I put on the shorts, I would have looked like a big rain cloud. These ultra comfortable boots from COCO seem to pull the look together. The criss-crossing straps make the boots very detailed, but not soooo detailed that they take away from the jacket.
LOOK. AT. THE. DETAIL! I honestly don't believe this picture does this jacket the justice. I think you all should go out and buy this fit so y'all can know what I'm talking about! What I LOVE about this jacket are the ruffles and the design in the back. The thing about this jacket is, it makes the wearer look very Victorian, but without being pretentious. Plus, the boots make it look really casual. Also, isn't this ponytail just the CUTEST?!
I only took this picture to show off the ruffles in the jacket and the strings on the boots. Told y'all I wasn't lying! Both are highly detailed, and are at a very reasonable price! Don't even ask why my eyes are closed. I don't know either.

casual glamor.

Usually I focus on shoes and hair, but with this post I'm focusing on the graphic tee. It's from Garbage Glam, and the designer is LustfulBarBiie Sugarplum. Her store isn't open yet, but since I'm her sister, I got an exclusive! Anyways, enjoy!

With this look, I was trying to go for a really relaxed look, but fab enough to walk into a boutique and not get stared at. The cropped, relaxed fit of the tee is what makes this outfit, in my opinion. The phrase on the shirt (Jesus Loves You. But I'm His Favorite) is an attention grabber and a great conversation starter. The tutu makes this really cute and quirky. It's probably my favorite of all the short skirts that I have. I think because it's short enough without being slutty is why I love it so, so, SO much!
The hair here is perfect for a day out shopping. The layers make it manageable, but doesn't make you look like a soccer mom. Paired with this ultra sexy shades from Reek, you're guaranteed to turn heads! The tee gives off a "just rolled out of bed" vibe which I love. The witty phrase is what makes it even better. Sure you're probably going to offend someone, but at least you're FABULOUS while offending! Plus, they're probably just jealous that they aren't Jesus' favorite. *wink* With this graphic tee, Garbage Glam DEFINITELY delivered!

Seeeee! Look at the haircut! The layers are perfect for this look! Also, LOOK AT THE SHOES! Normally, I wouldn't put high-priced items in my blog because I like to blog about reasonably priced pieces. But BABY, these shoes are f'ing FETCH! The Avas are one of my fav lines from Stiletto Moody. Now I'm not going to lie, it's a bitch trying to get these shoes to match your skin and there's enough scripts in one shoe to lag a Class 5 sim. But since I'm a fashion whore, I think it's worth it. Well... sometimes, but that's besides the point. THE POINT IS, these shoes make this outfit simply adorable. Like I said, if you walk into a boutique with this on, you'll turn HEADS! With the chunky bangles and the blood red nails, you'll have people inspecting your outfit as soon as you rezz!

And that's it! Hopefully I gave you guys great ideas to put with stuff you already have in your inventory. Maybe even convinced you to go out and purchase the outfit! Y'all know the drill, Style Card and Yellow Cabs are below! And I'm GONE!

losing.

You guys, I am SO sorry for not posting the last three days! I haven't had any inspiration to blog, and I've been trying to get the house habitable. So in order to make up for not posting, the next three posts are just outfits and style cards, and very little discussion! I hope you enjoy!

pretty paisley.

Today I'm feeling colorful, and I usually dress according to my mood. With this dress from GATO, you can wear it pretty much anywhere. Personally, I'd wear it to go shopping with friends. It's also perfect for a party or to go clubbing. I think y'all will like it. Well, I hope so.

So. Much. Color! That's all I can really say about this dress.  I adore prints, and paisley just happens to be one of my fav. What I really like about this dress is the sleeves. With the sleeves, you aren't being slutastic by showing way too much skin, but with the dress being a mini, you can show off your legs and grab that special guy's attention (while still leaving something to the imagination). I didn't wear jewelry with this dress because I felt it would take away from the dress. However, if you tend to feel "naked" without some type of jewels, I would suggest wearing a nice pair of diamond studs (I suggest the Iconoclast from JCNY). Also, if you want to wear a ring, I would go with a simple band with a solitaire jewel, but nothing too gaudy. Again, you want the focus to be on the dress. As for makeup, I would go with dark, dramatic eyes and any shade of red lipstick (no pink!). For my nails, I went with a natural, pink French tip. In my opinion, colored nails with this dress would be too much.

For this look, I went with a simple, black and strappy heel. I got these shoes from Maitreya's Gold line. The straps and the cute bow on the back of the shoes make these absolutely adorable. The heel is at a comfortable height, so ladies the heel won't have your feet screaming at you TOO loudly! These shoes come with a HUD that includes 10 skin presets (19 sub presents), resizer, nail polishes, RGB value sets, and 5 skin save slots. So clearly, there are plenty of options to customize your shoes.
What I love about this hair is the slightly tousled look. The faint wisps of hair framing the face, coupled with the thick bangs and long ponytail make this hair perfect for this look. This hair is also from Maitreya. It is primarily made of sculpts, but the ponytail is flexi. I prefer hair that is part sculpt, part flexi because too much of either just doesn't look good to me. The thick bangs go really well with the makeup because the bangs really enhance the "dramatic face" that I was trying to go for. Plus dramatic is perfect for nightlife, don't ya think?

With this look, you can dance the night away in style

girl's night out.

For today's look, I tried to put together something I would wear to a lounge or a comedy club (if I were 21) in SL. I went for a slightly relaxed, yet classically chic ensemble. The focal point for this look is the hair. To draw attention to the style and cut, I went with neutral colors. Anyways, I hope you like!

I absolutely love the cut of this hair. I admit that I am a little biased when it comes to hair because for some reason, I always fall in love with ANY kind of asymmetrical bob. Especially if it has layers. This hair comes with a HUD that allows you to add streaks and it allows for a small piece of hair to be in your mouth. Also, the hair comes with a mirror image. I love my wigs, and Magika always delivers!

If y'all haven't noticed, I love my prim clothes. As long as the prims aren't ratchet, the more the merrier! That's exactly what most of this outfit is made of. The jacket, I got it from Maitreya. When I saw it on the wall, I instantly fell in love with it. The work was so good, I thought it was photoshop trickery, but I took a chance. And I'll be damned, the jacket looked GOOD! The same goes for the miniskirt! I saw the skirt while shopping in the Heartless City sim. I was wondering around, and lo' and behold Lelutka had a vendor store! So I bought it, because what inventory isn't complete without a quality miniskirt? As you can see, the skirt prim is a little off, but that can be fixed with minor adjusting. Make sure you make a copy of the skirt before you modify!
I am a firm believer that the shoes make the outfit. You can have the flyyest 'fit on the Grid, but if your shoe game is lacking, then you're losing. Point. Blank. Period. Now personally, I'm a complete shoe whore. I can admit that, and no I don't a 12 step program. I'm a functioning addict, thank you very much. Lord, I've started rambling. OK... let's focus. Shoes. These are from Lelutka, and these are just smexy! These round-toe pumps are perfect for a night out with the girls. You're guaranteed to grab any guy's attention with these pumps, because they make your legs look GREAT!
Look at the legs! I wasn't lying! Did I mention that my fav parts of the jacket were the sleeves? The scrunched, elbow-length sleeves kind of give this look a casual appeal. Probably why I love it so much.
Isn't that just the cutest?! This feature may be why I love Magika hair so much. I think the hair in my mouth makes me look innocent. Right? Maybe?

So that's it for this post! I hope y'all enjoyed it. Also, I'm starting something new! If I mention a store by name in my posts (excluding the Style Card), I'm going to have a Yellow Cab (SURL) to the store! I think that's only fair. Anyways, until next time...

rawr.

So I felt like going CRAZAY with the accessories today. Don't judge, I just like to blang! Anywho, as I was deciding on what to wear, I thought to myself. I said, "Self." Then Self said, "Hmm?". Then I said, "I should to leopard print today"! And so here we are. I hope you like!

The first item I put on was the skirt. I usually start from the top and work my way down, but I decided to start from the middle and branch out. As you can see, the skirt is made with the CUTEST pleats! The skirt also comes it a belt option and a t-shirt, but the t-shirt made me look preggers.

What I REALLY love about these shoes is the spider web on the side. Originally, I purchased them to go with my Halloween costume, but I love them so much I've made them part of my everyday wardrobe. Plus, I'm so attached to the cool design on the side. Luckily, if you tire of the spiderweb (I'm sure I won't), the shoes come with a HUD so that you are able to turn it on and off (among other options!).

I honestly believe that the accessories make this outfit. Like I said, I probably went overboard, but whatev! I think the extraness is what makes the 'fit stand out. I feel like it kinda gives a "LOOK AT ME!" statement, without being obnoxious. Plus, if you didn't want the chunky jewelry, the hat that is shown pretty much rawks on it's own.

 Yeah, so... rawr.

So I'm a Blogger?

Oh hell yes. I've finally found something that I want to do with my SL. I'm going to blog about what I wear! Hopefully, someone likes what I wear and will give the designers more business. Right now, I'm doing this for fun so I probably won't update everyday. I'll try my best to stay consistent though! FYI, I do NO touch ups to my pictures. All I do is crop them. I want you guys to see the true quality of the items I blog. Also, to make the images bigger, just click them.

So without further ado, on to the fashion! :)

Where I live, the weather is changing and the temperature is dropping. So, because of that, I've decided to dress for the season. I hope you like!

I feel like my green pumps really set the outfit off. My fav part of my outfit is the sweater! I think the cowl neck is tooooo cute!

I took this pose to show off the heel of the shoes. Love it!

I love my eye color. Exile does a REALLY good job with eyes. Oh yeah, I had to show the nails up close.
